Network
Understand how your service connects.
Connectivity, addressing, traffic measurement and what happens when something goes wrong — described in the terms your invoice and your control panel use.
What this page does not claim
VdsRent does not operate a proprietary global backbone, does not guarantee a route, and does not publish peering or DDoS-mitigation capacity. Where a figure is not contractually supported, it is not on this page.Connectivity model
Each service sits behind a shared uplink in the region you chose.
- Port speed
- Stated per plan, for example 1 Gbps shared.
- Included transfer
- Stated per plan and measured per calendar month.
- Addressing
- At least one IPv4 address per service, kept for the life of the service.
- IPv6
- Offered in the regions whose network summary lists it.
Shared means the port is not dedicated to your service alone.
Traffic in both directions counts unless the plan says otherwise.
The location page states this per region rather than as a platform-wide claim.
The words on your invoice
The same terms are used in the catalog, the control panel and the invoice.
| Term | What it means here |
|---|---|
| Port speed | The maximum rate of the shared uplink your service connects through. |
| Included transfer | Data allowance for a calendar month, counted in both directions. |
| Shared uplink | Capacity used by more than one service. Not a dedicated port. |
| Primary IPv4 | The address assigned at provisioning. It stays with the service. |
| Additional IPv4 | An extra routed address, priced separately where a plan offers it. |
| Reverse DNS | A pointer record mapping an address back to a hostname you control. |
Measure it yourself
Any figure we published would describe our network, not the route between it and you.

Status
Component and regional state is published on the status page, and marked unavailable rather than operational when no monitor backs it.

Any availability commitment, its exclusions and its credit mechanism live in the Service Level Agreement, not in marketing copy.
